Richard H. Sugg, Jr. has been in private practice since 1982 serving the legal needs of small businesses, professional practices and individuals in commercial and civil matters. Richard is a 1978 graduate of the University of Virginia. He received his law degree from the University of Colorado in 1982 and was an editor of the Law Review.

He prepares the necessary documents and assists clients in the purchase and sale of businesses and professional practices.

Richard also represents clients in civil lawsuits and arbitration for commercial, contract, employment, trade secret, mechanic’s lien, collection and other civil actions. He also represents businesses and individuals in general commercial and residential real estate and construction matters.

Richard assists individual clients in estate planning and administration and in the preparation of wills, trusts and powers of attorney. Also, Richard represents individual clients in divorce cases involving property division, maintenance and child support issues.
